ATRIUM\u00a0 (Advancing Frontier Research In the Arts and Humanities)<\/a> is a European Commission-funded research project, launched in January 2024, which will run for four years. The project bridges four leading European Research Infrastructures: DARIAH<\/strong><\/a> (arts and humanities), ARIADNE<\/strong><\/a> (archaeology), CLARIN<\/strong><\/a> (languages), and OPERAS<\/strong><\/a> (open scholarly communication in the social sciences and humanities), and brings 17 partners and 12 affiliated entities<\/a> from 12 countries across Europe.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The goal of the project is to make groundbreaking contributions to the consolidation and expansion of services, including data services, specifically in the field of archaeology. ATRIUM\u2019s main objectives<\/a> are to:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Enhance Access<\/strong> by enhancing the quality of metadata in existing catalogues and repositories;<\/li>\n
  2. Make Research Widely Available <\/strong>by reaching diverse communities across Europe, with a particular focus on citizen science and people with disabilities;<\/li>\n
  3. Create Workflows <\/strong>so that researchers can best learn how to apply digital methods to their work;<\/li>\n
  4. Facilitate Training <\/strong>through a number of project initiatives such as ATRIUM Skillset Assessment, ATRIUM Bridge, and ATRIUM Curriculum;<\/li>\n
  5. Establish a Peer Review Framework <\/strong>to maintain research outputs essential for building and maintaining research infrastructures;<\/li>\n
  6. Strengthen Data Management Practices <\/strong>by establishing a smooth flow of data across various services.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
