EOSC PILOT – European Open Science Cloud for research
The EOSCpilot project will support the first phase in the development of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). It will establish the governance framework for the EOSC and contribute to the development of European open science policy and best practice, It will develop a number of demonstrators functioning as high-profile pilots that integrate services and infrastructures to show interoperability and its benefits in a number of scientific domains It will engage with a broad range of stakeholders to build the trust and skills required for adoption of an open approach to scientific research.
VAST-LAB will bring in the project the needs and the contributions from the PARTHENOS project community, comprising Language Studies (CLARIN ERIC), Digital Humanities (DARIAH ERIC), Heritage Science (E-RIHS), Digital Archaeology (ARIADNE), as well as the broader communities of historians, architects, art historians and so on, including their share in the “long tail of science”.
