Asset Description:
Immagine del modello 3D della statua di Ganimede con l'aquila (MANN, inv.6355). Il gruppo statuario rappresenta il giovane Ganimede rivolto verso l'aquila. Il giovane è rappresentato con un copricapo frigio dal quale fuoriesce una capigliatura di riccioli. L'aquila che funge da sostegno alla figura di Ganimede rivolge la testa al giovane. Il rapace è appoggiato ad uno sperone roccioso. Il gruppo statuario è una copia della metà del II sec. d.C. dell'originale greco della seconda metà del IV sec. a.C. Il gruppo scultoreo riprende il mito di Ganimede, rapito da Zeus, trasformatosi all'occasione in aquila.

An amount of photos have been shot from different points of view by Nikon D90 Camera with 18-55mm lens, using an auto focus; average distance camera from the object is 1.50-2 mt with 2 reference distances of 3.5 cm.

Description:
the photos alignment has been performed by AgiSoft Photoscan Professional Edition in order to produce a dense points cloud ant to build a textured dense surface model.
